“Tourism Authority and Taif Chamber adopt an advisory team to develop exhibitions and conferences programs

<The Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Taif Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Exhibitions and Conferences Committee and a team from the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in their joint meeting, approved the establishment of an advisory team for the Taif Exhibitions and Conferences Program, whose membership includes five government agencies headed by the Chamber of Commerce and includes (Taif Municipality, Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Authority, Ministry of Commerce, Taif University), the nomination of two private sector members in the advisory team, and the approval of the formation of members by His Excellency the Governor of Taif and Chairman of the Tourism Development Council Fahd bin Abdulaziz bin Muaammar, Chairman of the Tourism Development Council. The meeting included Advisor to His Highness the President of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage Abdullah Al-Jehani, Executive Director of the National Program for Exhibitions and Conferences Tariq Al-Essa, and Director General of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in Taif Abdullah Al-Sowat.

The meeting agreed. The meeting agreed on the importance of developing shopping festivals to contribute to the development of the economy of Taif Governorate, with the participation of the governorate's businessmen, and the need to eliminate the negatives of shopping festivals, and the meeting agreed on the need to create a complete calendar of events in Taif Governorate, provided that the Chamber's Events Committee provides the necessary consultations to organize events in Taif.

For his part, Dr. Sami Al-Obaidi, President of the Taif Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed the Chamber's readiness to organize a number of events, including (Taif Shopping Festival) starting next year, and the development of the National Industries Exhibition in line with the tourism and economic renaissance witnessed by the province.
