The Director General of Operation and Development for Rent and Residential Programs at the Public Authority for Real Estate, Engineer Ziad Al-Aql, explained how to transfer the amount of Rent via Ejar to both the landlord and the owner.
In an interview with Rotana Khaleejia's “Yahala” program, Al-Aql said: ”From the day a payment is made in the Ejar network through the platform, the payments are settled and the network issues a receipt to prove the payment to the tenant and then transfers it directly to the landlord's account.
The Real Estate Authority official added that the owner registers his bank account number when documenting the contract with Rent platformOn the document that proves the tenant's right, he explained that as soon as the payment is made, the Ejar network receives a message from the tenant, and the landlord is also notified that the payment has been made and that the amount will be transferred to him.
The letter to both the tenant and the landlord is a document in the event of any legal dispute, Al-Aql pointed out: Every tenant has a payment schedule that closes and issues him a receipt.
