The Secretariat of the Holy Capital has emphasized the need to adhere to the updated schedule of penalties adopted by the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, as part of its commitment to applying the highest standards of public health and facility safety, and as an extension of its ongoing efforts to provide a suitable environment, reduce visual pollution, and raise awareness of regulations.
Building Compliance Certificate
The Secretariat clarified that the updated schedule of penalties categorizes violations into multiple groups, with the group covering building compliance 16 types of violations, with fines ranging from 100 riyals to 9,000 riyals. The violations can be viewed on the Secretariat’s website or via the “Baladi” app.
She added that the Secretariat is committed to improving compliance with regulations, ensuring the safety of procedures followed in buildings, raising awareness among citizens, contractors, and employees of secretariats and municipalities, and promoting safety principles.
