It was revealed by the Arar Chamber of Commerce in a statistical report that the value of real estate transactions in the Northern Border Region reached 300 million riyals in 2023.
The report noted that residential real estate transactions accounted for approximately 78.4% of the total value of real estate transactions in the Northern Border Region, amounting to approximately 235 million riyals across 2,377 transactions, which represent about 85.1 % of the total number of transactions in the region.

The report noted that the value of commercial real estate transactions accounted for approximately 21.3 % of the total value of real estate transactions in the region, amounting to approximately 63.8 million riyals across 405 transactions, representing about 14.5 % of the total number of transactions in the region.

The report noted that the value of agricultural real estate transactions amounted to approximately 0.3% of the total value of transactions in the region, totaling one million riyals, and representing approximately 0.4 % of the total number of transactions.

The economic report prepared by the Research and Economic Studies Department at the Arar Chamber of Commerce and Industry indicated that the value of real estate transactions in the city of Arar accounted for 68.9 % of the total value of real estate transactions in the region, amounting to approximately 206.7 million riyals across 2,098 transactions, representing 75.1 % of the region’s total transactions, As for the value of real estate transactions in Rafha Governorate, it accounted for approximately 15.1% of the total transactions, amounting to approximately 45.4 million riyals across 327 transactions, representing about 11.7 % of the total number of transactions.

According to a report by the Arar Chamber of Commerce, the value of transactions in Turaif Governorate amounted to approximately 12.6 % of the total real estate transactions and 6.9% of the total number of transactions in the region, while Al-Awiqila Governorate accounted for approximately 31% of the total value of real estate transactions, amounting to about 9.2 million riyals, with 148 transactions representing 5.3 % of the total number of transactions in the region.
