Chinese business delegation spends 24,000 hotel nights in Dubai in just four days

Dubai Tourism Marketing Corporation (DTMC), part of Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), has reported that the number of visitors from China to Dubai has increased by 25% in the six months ending August 2015. <According to Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), the number of visitors from China to Dubai increased by 25% in the first six months of this year compared to the same period last year, reaching 241,000 visitors, pointing out that the importance of Dubai hosting this prominent meeting comes not only because of the thousands of people who will come to Dubai to attend the meeting, but also its important role in enhancing Dubai's position and reputation among influential Chinese business circles as a favorite destination for international business conferences and events and a prominent destination for tourism and luxury <Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Tourism, said that the number of visitors from China to Dubai increased by 25% in the first six months of 2015 compared to the same period last year, reaching 241,000 visitors, noting that the number of Chinese visitors has witnessed continuous growth over the past years. “There is no doubt that China is of great importance as an emerging market for tourism in Dubai, which is why the emirate is making efforts to attract more Chinese visitors,” he added.
