NEOM and Raffles Hotels & Resorts have announced a partnership to develop a new resort in Trogina, NEOM’s mountain tourism destination.
In a statement, NEOM said that “Raffles Trojena Resort,” scheduled to open in 2027, offers a new vision of hospitality and the discovery of nature’s beauty and charm in mountain destinations.
The resort is set to feature 105 rooms distributed across the hotel’s various sections. Nestled in the embrace of the majestic Trojina Mountains, “Raffles Trojina” features a unique circular design that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area from every angle.
The resort will offer the services for which the global Raffles brand is renowned, including butler service and a variety of exceptional culinary options, with a focus on showcasing the destination’s unique artistic and cultural aspects.
Offering luxury hospitality and mountain tourism
”Trojina,“ Philip Goulet, stated that Trojina aims to offer luxury hospitality and mountain tourism with a new concept, noting that partnering with Raffles to open this resort will provide guests with a one-of-a-kind experience that encourages them to embrace the spirit of adventure and explore the region’s natural diversity.
Goulet added that the “Raffles Trogina” resort will serve as a major landmark of luxury within the global mountain tourism destination of Neom, which is characterized by diverse natural environments complemented by exceptional experiences, ranging from international sporting events, skiing, hiking, Arabian culinary experiences, and stargazing.”
The Raffles Trogina resort is located in the “Discovery District,” one of the six areas that make up the mountain destination.
The Discovery District is designed to offer experiences for exploring the surrounding nature and includes various facilities, among them the “the ”Discovery Tower,” a soaring tower housing a museum; the ”Mountain Observatory,” which will allow visitors to view all of Trojena’s natural areas and landscapes; and the ”Cosmic Gate,” which features an area for observing stars and celestial bodies.
