The Board of Directors of Al Qiddiya Investment Company announced yesterday the launch of “Dragon Ball” theme park, an unprecedented entertainment destination designed to embrace the “power of play” philosophy in Al Qiddiya, where visitors can enjoy an exceptional experience in the world of the famous Dragon Ball.
The unveiling of Dragon Ball Park comes just a few weeks after the announcement of the launch of three major assets in Qiddiya, the Gaming and Esports District, home to major gaming companies and leading esports clubs; Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, which will be one of the world’s premier stadiums; and a one-of-a-kind speedway for motorsports.

The world’s first Dragon Ball theme park will be located in Al-Qiddiya, just 40 minutes from Riyadh, and will span an area of over half a million square meters, The new park is expected to offer an unprecedented global entertainment experience, welcoming anime fans and families seeking entertainment from around the world to explore seven distinct themed zones inspired by the legendary Dragon Ball series.
This announcement comes as Al Qiddiya enters into a long-term strategic partnership with Toei Animation, Japan’s leading animation studio and creator of the original Dragon Ball characters. This partnership aims to preserve the authentic spirit of the Dragon Ball universe through a shared vision of bringing the famous legend to life.

Dragon Ball Park offers more than 30 games
Park visitors will be able to embark on a fun, interactive journey through the world of Dragon Ball and its famous stories, such as ”Kame’s House,” ”The Capsule Corporation,” and "Planet Pirus," where the park offers more than 30 rides and five leading entertainment facilities, allowing everyone to enjoy its fantastical atmosphere.
Dragon Ball Park will offer visitors the full Son Goku adventure, from his childhood adventures in the Dragon Ball universe to the legendary intergalactic battles in the Dragon Ball Super universe, During this experience, visitors will relive their cherished memories of these stories while staying in the park’s themed hotels and exploring a variety of signature food and beverage offerings.

Dragon Ball Theme Park is set to be one of several projects jointly developed by Qiddiya Investment Company and Toei Animation, with the aim of building an entertainment destination inspired by the world of anime that transcends imagination.
Dragon Ball Park will reinforce Qiddiya’s position as the world’s capital of play, Qiddiya’s adoption of the concept of play was announced based on decades of research demonstrating that play is a vital component of human cognitive development, emotional expression, social skills, creativity, and physical health. Studies have also demonstrated the positive impacts of recreational activities on society and their ability to bridge differences between individuals and enhance empathy and social cohesion.
The announcement of Dragon Ball Park is part of a series of announcements revealing details of Al Qiddiya’s urban master plan and its key components, with further major assets in the city expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
