Starting May 26 8 neighborhoods benefit from the real estate registry in Makkah

It includes 1336 pieces of real estate and registration is available online or at service centers until August 29, 2024.

The General Authority for Real Estate announced 8 neighborhoods in the city of “Makkah” within the fifth phase of the real estate registry, which includes 1336 real estate plots, starting from 18 Dhul Qa'dah 1445 AH corresponding to May 26, 2024 AD, and registration will continue until the end of 25 Safar 1446 AH corresponding to August 29, 2024 AD.

Names of the neighborhoods benefiting from the real estate registry

The announced neighborhoods include: Part of the Safwa neighborhood, part of the Dar Al Salam neighborhood, part of the Hijra neighborhood, the Zakher project, which includes the Jumayzah neighborhood and the Raya Zakher neighborhood, the Makkah Path project, the first section, which includes the Nuzha neighborhood, the Rusaifa neighborhood, and the Jabal Omar project, which includes the northern Jarhum neighborhood, where the authority confirmed that the selection of neighborhoods came according to approved criteria, while the rest of the areas and neighborhoods that will benefit from the real estate registry will be announced according to readiness.

The Real Estate Authority explained that the first registration of properties in these areas will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa/rer-services-ar/, or through service centers, indicating that in-kind registration requires an updated electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice, complete with data and fulfilling the conditions of ownership.

The Authority called on property owners of areas and neighborhoods benefiting from the Real Estate Registry to verify the title deed of the property and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, and can inquire about the necessary procedures and steps by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.

Registration in kind requires an up-to-date electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice with complete data and fulfilling the conditions of ownership.

The National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (Real Estate Registry) is responsible for establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using geospatial data and modern technologies through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and trust in real estate services and data.

National Real Estate Registration Services Company (NRESC). Starting from the date set for the start of registration, a "property number" and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered.

The new title deed will include property data, descriptions, condition, rights, obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it, linked to geospatial information, through cadastral elevation and geographic coordinates of real estate, to be the basis for the registration of ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, contributing to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its key enablers.

The new title deed will include the property data, descriptions, condition, rights, obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it.
