5 neighborhoods in Riyadh to join the Real Estate Registry as of Ramadan 21

It includes 25,700 plots with an area of 58.14 square kilometers; registration is available via the Land Registry platform until Dhu al-Hijjah 28.

The General Authority for Real Estate announced five neighborhoods in Riyadh within the fourth phase of the real estate registry, which includes 25,700 real estate plots with a total area of 58.14 square kilometers, starting from the thirty-first of March 2024, corresponding to 21 Ramadan 1445 AH, and registration continues until the end of the fourth day of July 2024, corresponding to 28 Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, and includes: The Authority confirmed that the selection of the neighborhoods came according to approved criteria, and the rest of the areas and neighborhoods that will benefit from the real estate registry will be announced according to readiness.

Real Estate Registry Platform

The Real Estate Authority explained that the first registration of properties in these areas will be available through the Real Estate Registry Platform or through service centers, indicating that in-kind registration requires an updated electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice, complete with data and fulfilling the conditions of ownership.

The Authority invited property owners of the areas and neighborhoods benefiting from the real estate registry to verify the title deed of the property and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, and the necessary procedures and steps can be inquired about by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.

Registration in kind requires an updated electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice, complete with data and fulfilling the ownership conditions. <It is noteworthy that the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (Real Estate Registry) establishes and manages the real estate registry in the Kingdom using geospatial data and modern technologies through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and confidence in real estate services and data. Starting from the date set for the start of registration, a "real estate number" and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered. The new title deed will include property data, descriptions, status, rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it, linked to geospatial information through cadastral elevation and geographic coordinates of real estate, to be the basis for the registration of ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it in order to contribute to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its key enablers.

The new title deed will include the property data, descriptions, status, rights and obligations.
