The Capital Market Authority (CMA) revealed in its latest statistical bulletin that the total ”asset values of public and private funds real estate investment" with a growth rate of 33% by the end of the fourth quarter of 2023, an increase equivalent to 40.9 billion riyals to reach 164.5 billion riyals compared to 123.7 billion riyals at the end of the similar quarter of 2022.
The CMA attributed the growth of real estate investment funds“ assets to the increase in the number of public and private real estate funds, which reached 408 funds by the end of Q4 2023 compared to 254 funds by the end of Q4 2022, a growth of 60.6%, equivalent to 154 new funds.

Real Estate Fund Assets Rise
The asset values of real estate investment funds increased by 34% by the end of the fourth quarter of 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, to reach 164.2 billion riyals, representing 38% of the total asset values of private funds of 435.6 billion riyals, compared to 122.98 billion riyals, an increase of 41.3 billion riyals, representing 35% of the total asset values of private funds of 352.1 billion riyals.
