Al Joud Medal for Volunteers Night celebrates impact makers in support of development housing

Skan organized the “Volunteer Medal Night” as part of the <a href=”https://amlak. net.sa/75860/“ data-type="post" data-id="75860" campaign.data-type="post" data-id=“75860“>Goodness from us and to us”, within the framework of strengthening the partnership with volunteers and honoring their influential contributions in supporting the development housing system, which contributed to enabling deserving families to achieve housing stability.<This night aims to highlight the pivotal role of volunteering in transforming the values of giving into a developmental impact. During the meeting, Sakan reviewed the path of housing volunteering and the mechanisms of directing volunteers towards serving beneficiaries in multiple paths, ensuring that the impact of volunteering is maximized. The Secretary General of Sakan, Rashid bin Mohammed Al Jalajel, stressed that volunteers are a key pillar in the development work system, pointing out that volunteer efforts contribute directly to supporting development housing initiatives and enhancing their reach to deserving families.

He added that honoring volunteers comes in recognition of their kindness and belief in their role in creating social impact and promoting the culture of volunteering to support the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the development of the non-profit sector.

A number of entities, institutions and individuals whose contributions have played a prominent role in supporting developmental housing initiatives were also honored in recognition of their contributions in promoting the culture of institutional giving, consolidating the concept of community participation, and motivating more entities and individuals to adopt organized giving initiatives.

He added that honoring volunteers comes in recognition of their giving and their belief in creating social impact and promoting the culture of volunteering in a way that contributes to supporting the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the development of the non-profit sector.
