Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Engineer Abdul Latif Al Shaikh approved the tender for 182 projects worth a total of SAR 1.77 billion covering 80 cities and villages across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The tender includes construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, tunnels, pedestrian bridges, street lighting and beautification of the entrances of cities and governorates.
Riyadh region topped the list with projects totaling 286 million riyals, followed by Asir region with 252 million riyals, Qassim 188 million riyals, Tabuk 173 million riyals, Jazan 160 riyals, and Al-Jouf and Al-Ahsa regions received projects with a total value of 108 million riyals each.
