Statistics released by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at Kuwaiti Ministry of Justice, revealed that the total value of real estate contracts registered with the ministry last May amounted to approximately 413 million Kuwaiti dinars, during which 425 properties were traded.
The ministry clarified that real estate transactions in Kuwait were distributed across the six governorates, led by residential properties, with 295 properties valued at 134.81 million dinars, followed by investment properties with approximately 103 properties valued at 71.73 million dinars, and commercial properties with 20 properties valued at 164.53 million dinars.
Statistics from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Justice indicated that three properties in the industrial sector were recorded at 3.77 million dinars, one property in the exhibition sector valued at 1.85 million dinars, one property in the warehouse sector valued at 4.3 million dinars, and one property on the coastline valued at 32 million dinars.
Meanwhile, Al-Ahmadi Governorate accounted for the largest number of real estate transactions with approximately 157 properties, while the fewest transactions took place in Al-Jahra Governorate, with only 22 transactions.
