The the Eastern Province Municipality carried out work last May to remove 18,000 square meters of abandoned buildings, 1,020 linear meters of dilapidated fences, and a number of shacks, rest areas, informal camps, and sheds within residential neighborhoods in Al-Khobar Governorate, as well as the renovation of 15 buildings and the improvement of their facades, as part of its efforts to eliminate visual disturbances and enhance the urban landscape.

The Eastern Province Municipality affirmed its commitment to continuing efforts to improve the urban landscape in Al-Khobar Governorate and its dedication to achieving the highest aesthetic standards, calling on owners of buildings located on the targeted streets to promptly obtain building compliance certificates.

It is worth noting that over the past four months, the Municipality has issued more than 1,000 building compliance certificates for both old and new buildings.
