Red Sea International has announced the construction of Turtle Bay Hospital, which will provide world-class healthcare to the community of residents and workers at the 1.5 million square meter waterfront site.

Turtle Bay Hospital is set to welcome up to 300,000 visitors per year when the first phase of the resorts are completed next year, in addition to 14,000 employees and their families residing at Turtle Bay. Red Sea International confirmed that it has received Ministry of Health approval for Turtle Bay Hospital, the first PIF-funded project to receive architectural approval from the Ministry of Health.

He added: “This is the first of many firsts for Turtle Bay Hospital. ”Our priority is the health and wellness of our guests and employees, and we eagerly await the progress of Turtle Bay Hospital, which is scheduled to open at the end of next year.“

Construction has already begun. <Construction work on the site began in March. The construction contract for the project was awarded to a local company, which also won a contract at Red Sea International's second destination, Amaala, while the medical equipment contract for the hospital was recently awarded to a local company.The hospital will provide primary and secondary health care, including an emergency department. The hospital will provide primary and secondary healthcare including an emergency department, family medicine, radiology, clinical support, women's healthcare, pharmaceutical services, and a hyperbaric oxygen therapy room as an additional service in the emergency department, which will help provide world-class on-site care for diving accidents or marine adventures.

The architectural plans for the medical clinic at the Red Sea International Airport have been approved by the Ministry of Health, with construction nearing completion and expected to be fully operational by December of this year.

It is noteworthy that the Red Sea International Airport is the first destination in the world to offer a hyperbaric oxygen treatment room as an additional service to the emergency department. <When completed by 2030, the Red Sea destination will include 50 resorts offering a total of 8,000 hotel rooms, more than 1,000 residential units spread across 22 islands and six inland locations, luxury marinas, golf courses, restaurants and cafes, and leisure and recreation facilities.
