King Salman International Airport, a Public Investment Fund company, has announced the signing of strategic partnerships with four leading local and international architecture, engineering, construction, and air traffic management firms to begin a new phase in the development of King Salman International Airport as a hub for tourism, travel, and transportation in Riyadh and the region.

Foster & Partners, an award-winning architectural, engineering, construction, and air traffic management firm, will design the airport's master plan. The engineering firm Jacobs will provide specialized consultancy services for the detailed master plan of the airport and the design of the new runways, while Mace, a leading consulting and construction company, will apply global best practices, innovations and advanced methodologies in all stages of planning and construction, while Nera, a Saudi company specialized in technical and operational solutions for aviation, will oversee the design of the airspace to enhance air traffic efficiency and improve operational processes using the latest technologies.
