“Sharjah Oasis Real Estate,” one of the region’s leading real estate developers, announced the successful launch of “Sharjah Waterfront City,” its most significant and largest real estate project in the Emirate of Sharjah, during a press conference at Cityscape Global 2015, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The press conference was co-hosted by Haitham Al-Masri, Chairman of Sharjah Oasis Real Estate, and Sheikh Abdullah Al-Shukra, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hanoo Real Estate.
Commenting on the project’s launch, Haitham Al-Masri said: “The launch of our Sharjah Waterfront City project aligns with the emirate of Sharjah’s development plans, which aim to attract more than 10 million visitors to the emirate by 2021. There is no doubt that these significant development plans will contribute to increased demand for residential and commercial units, as well as for hotels and modern recreational facilities, especially in key areas. We are proud that this project will enable us to meet the growing demand for residential and recreational facilities and provide them at the highest quality.”
For his part, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Shukra, Chairman of Al-Hanoo Real Estate Company, said: “Our significant investment in the Sharjah Waterfront City project stems from our belief that this project will offer promising opportunities and serve as a cornerstone of Sharjah’s Tourism Vision 2021. We appreciate the significant efforts being made by Sharjah Oasis Real Estate Company in the development and construction processes across the project’s various phases.”
Sharjah Oasis Real Estate Company had previously signed an agreement with Dusit Hotel – Waterfront City and Shaza Hotel – Waterfront City (part of Kempinski Hotels), which will be the first two hotel facilities to begin construction within the project. Construction on the two hotels is expected to begin by the fourth quarter of 2016, and they are expected to open by 2019.
The 5-star Dusit Hotel – Waterfront City will feature 200 different hotel amenities, including separate men’s and women’s health clubs, a fitness center, a swimming pool, meeting rooms, and a business center.
Shaza Hotel – Waterfront City, which meets international five-star hotel standards, will feature approximately 300 hotel rooms and 350 hotel apartments. The hotel will feature a health club, a fitness center, various food and beverage outlets, as well as conference and meeting facilities.It will also feature a kids“ club, a library, a number of recreational facilities, retail spaces, and parking lots.
Sharjah Oasis Real Estate also announced the signing of an agreement with an investment bank to finance the first phase of the project.
The design of ”Sharjah Waterfront City“ is innovative, blending seamlessly with the natural environment while incorporating elements of luxury and modernity. The city is considered a model for integrated residential projects that meet the needs of families; residents and visitors alike will experience the beauty of the location and the luxurious atmosphere in every detail.
”Sharjah Waterfront City“ stretches along 36 kilometers of waterfront, covering a total area of approximately 60 million square feet. The project will include residential, commercial, and tourism facilities that meet the region’s most advanced standards.
