The Jeddah Municipality, in cooperation with the State Property Control Committee, an intensive campaign to remove encroachments at 28 sites within the Southern District, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the urban landscape and combat encroachments.

Ibrahim Al-Salmi, Mayor of the Southern Sub-District, explained that the campaign included removing encroachments at 17 sites in the Al-Fadila and Al-Baraka neighborhoods, in addition to removing 11 other sites in the Al-Fadila, Al-Baraka, and Al-Huda. This is part of ongoing efforts to improve services provided to residents and to prevent and remove all forms of municipal violations through continuous patrols within neighborhoods and in outlying areas.
