His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Tabuk Region, received at his office in the emirate yesterday, Monday, November 18, 2024, His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities andHousing Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqil, who is currently visiting the region.
During the meeting, the Ministry’s plans and its development and housing projects for beneficiaries in the cities and governorates of the Tabuk Region were reviewed.
His Highness praised the Ministry’s work and projects, as well as its contributions to the implementation of service, development, and housing plans in the Tabuk Region. He commended the efforts of His Excellency the Minister in supporting projects in the region, noting the wise leadership’s —may God support them—to all development projects that serve the citizens.
Following that, the Governor of the Tabuk Region, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities andHousing, the signing of an agreement between National Works Company (Mishaal bin Abdullah Al-Shuraie and Brothers) and Marriott International to operate a five-star hotel under the ”Le Méridien ” brand as part of the Jawharah Sas project in the city of Tabuk, which consists of commercial showrooms, a medical center for same-day surgery, an administrative building, an office building, and a conference and banquet hall with a capacity of more than 600 people, as well as gardens and water fountains, thereby creating numerous job opportunities for the region’s residents.
For his part, His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing expressed his gratitude to His Highness for his continuous follow-up and support for the Ministry’s work and projects in the Tabuk region, which have contributed to accelerating the pace of work and achievement in the region’s projects.
