National events and tourism programs in Taif recorded a large attendance of citizens, tourists and residents of the province, where a large number of people from all segments of society witnessed the sky programs and the «Homeland and History» exhibition held in cooperation with King Abdulaziz Darat and the Saudi Press Agency Authority on the occasion of the 85th National Day. The exhibition included many film materials and rare photos of the kings and men of the Saudi state, and highlighted the history of the Kingdom from the founding to the present time, and the «Homeland in our hearts» event held in cooperation with the Saudi Fine Arts Society «Jasfat» attracted the participation of visitors represented in a painting in which visitors translate their sincere feelings towards the beloved homeland, and describe its symbols, landmarks and achievements with their national sense of patriotism, and the «Saudi Colors» event shows the love of the homeland in the eyes of children embodied by drawing from their colors and fertile imaginations.

The festival offers many theatrical performances and competitions, an exhibition for lovers of graffiti art, through which young people contain and unload their talents and creativity in innovative ways that contribute to preserving public taste, in addition to folk arts performances, the Hakawati and the «My Dishes are Saudi» competition.

It is worth mentioning that the Al Huda cable car and the Al Kar recreational resort in Taif are witnessing a turnout of residents and visitors of the governorate during public holidays and this was evident during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
