The Shubra Historical Palace Museum in Taif Governorate showcased important periods of ancient and modern history, opening its doors to local residents and tourists during the Eid al-Adha holiday. The evening hours from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. saw a heavy turnout of visitors, while attendance during the morning hours from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. was lighter.

The exhibition consisted of three main themes displayed in three halls: the «Pre-Islamic Eras» hall, which featured archaeological artifacts dating from the Stone Age through the Jahiliyyah period, which displayed a collection of stone and pottery artifacts, as well as panels of inscriptions and stone carvings, in addition to texts and images chronicling each period of pre-Islamic history.

The second hall showcased «Islamic Heritage» and the period of the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) migration to Medina, followed by the eras of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and subsequent Islamic periods, along with a collection of various artifacts, panels, texts, images, and manuscripts dating back to this period.

The «Story of the Unification of the Kingdom,» from the founding of the first Saudi state to the present day, is displayed in the third hall, featuring panels, photographs, and documentary films detailing the various periods of the Saudi state, as well as cultural artifacts from different regions.
