Head of NHC: 300,000 housing units by 2025 with the launch of new digital innovations

The program targets 17 destinations and establishes NHC Infovation to develop digital platforms that serve more than 20 million customers.

Mohammed Al-Bati, CEO of the National Housing Company (NHC), revealed today, Monday, that the company will be able to achieve its first goal of delivering more than 300,000 housing units in 17 different locations across the Kingdom by the end of 2025, noting that the latest of these projects was in Al-Ahsa Governorate, which will accommodate more than one million residents, marking a major step toward meeting the Kingdom’s housing market needs.

In his speech during the “Future of Real Estate Forum 2025“ in Riyadh, Al-Bati emphasized that the National Housing Company has now become the largest real estate developer in the Kingdom, noting that the company’s real estate supply is the largest ever. He added that the company’s role is not limited to real estate development but also includes digital transformation, which has been a fundamental part of the company’s strategy from the outset. He explained that digital transformation has become one of the cornerstones of the company’s operations, enabling it to integrate with its partners at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the General Real Estate Authority.

Al-Bati noted that the National Housing Company has developed more than 10 digital platforms in recent years, serving over 20 million customers. These platforms have processed more than 500 million transactions annually and recorded more than 3.5 billion visits. He noted that these platforms contributed to financial transactions exceeding 250 billion riyals in 2024 through sales and lease contracts, screening, and numerous other operations.

Al-Bati emphasized that the National Housing Company aims to improve the quality of life in the Kingdom by developing residential and urban destinations that enhance citizens” quality of life. He explained that the company’s role extends beyond developing urban destinations to also focus on developing digital platforms that provide better experiences for all individuals and stakeholders.

In a new step toward promoting innovation, Al-Bati announced the launch of a new subsidiary of the National Housing Company called "NHC Innovation," which will be dedicated to developing, operating, and managing digital platforms. He added that this company will work to expand the offering of products and services that contribute to improving customers" quality of life, in addition to opening up new investment opportunities aimed at shaping the future of the housing sector, with a focus on innovations that help build the future.

Opening of the Future of Real Estate Forum

The fourth edition of Real Estate Future Forum, which runs from January 27 to 29, under the patronage ofthe General Real Estate Authority in partnership with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. This year’s forum carries an ambitious theme: "A Future for Humanity: From Dreams to Reality," reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to building a sustainable and prosperous real estate future.

International Participation and Strategic Directions

The the Future of Real Estate Forum a remarkable international turnout, with representatives from 120 countries and more than 500 speakers from the public and private sectors, in addition to a select group of influential figures from the local and global communities. The program features 34 panel discussions, along with special sessions highlighting key issues such as:

  • Urban planning and community sustainability.
  • Real estate technologies and their role in green building construction.
  • Promoting a healthy and social environment in urban communities.

The events also include Future of Real Estate Forum 17 workshops covering technical, developmental, and operational topics, with the participation of economic experts, investors, and decision-makers from around the world.

A platform to keep pace with the urban renaissance

The forum coincides with the major urban renaissance currently taking place in the Kingdom, as it seeks to strengthen its global standing through mega-projects such as Expo 2030 and the 2034 World Cup, in addition to its ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and build the cities of the future. The forum builds on the success of the previous edition, during which more than 50 agreements were signed with a total value exceeding 100 billion riyals, reflecting growing confidence in the Saudi real estate sector.

The forum will be accompanied by a distinguished real estate exhibition featuring major local and international companies, showcasing the latest real estate technologies and innovative products.
