The Madinah Chamber of Commerce organized a special meeting on the real estate sector in the Madinah region, as part of the sectoral committees" initiatives aimed at serving the business sectors. The event was attended by a number of investors, real estate developers, and others interested in the sector.
The meeting highlighted the role of the Real Estate Development Committee and its objectives in supporting and developing the sector, Participants also discussed ways to strengthen the committee’s role in stimulating real estate investment, in addition to reviewing the most significant challenges facing the sector and identifying obstacles, while presenting proposed solutions to enhance the growth of the real estate market in the region.
This meeting comes amid the remarkable growth witnessed by the real estate sector in the Kingdom, where the latest data released by the General Authority for Statistics showed a 12% increase in the volume of real estate transactions in the Kingdom during 2024, reflecting the growing investment opportunities in the real estate market, Medina has also witnessed a remarkable real estate boom, with the value of real estate transactions in the region reaching 47.7 billion riyals in 2024, an increase of 324.7% compared to 2023, which recorded approximately 11.2 billion riyals in real estate transaction value. This reflects the growing demand for real estate investment in the city, particularly in light of development expansions and major tourism projects.
