The General Real Estate Authority announced the start of real estate registration for (30,297) parcels in 40 neighborhoods in the Qatif Governorate and 18 parcels in the Harimla Governorate, beginning February 23 and continuing through the end of May 29, 2025.
The Authority clarified that the neighborhoods benefiting from Land Registry At this stage, it includes the following neighborhoods in Qatif Governorate: (Al-Ruwayha, Al-Kawthar, Al-Badr, Granada, Al-Khaleej, Al-Firdaws, Al-Muntazah, Al-Dira, Al-Aqiq, Al-Bustan, Al-Naqi, Qurtuba, Anka, Al-Salam, Al-Khassab, Al-Naseem, Al-Taf, Al-Ghadir, Al-Mahar, Al-Nour, Al-Bawadi, Al-Nargis, Al-Jumayma, Al-Rif, Al-Awamiya, Al-Zara, Al-Thuraya, Al-Safa, Al-Amal, Al-Manar, Al-Arouba, Al-Rabwa, Umm Al-Sahk, Hazm, Al-Marwa, Al-Hazm, Al-Badour, Al-Rehab,
Al-Maseef, Abu Ma’an), and the registration also includes a number of real estate parcels along the old Riyadh-Sudair-Al-Qassim Road in the Harimla Governorate.
It noted that the neighborhoods were selected based on specific criteria, and that the remaining regions, governorates, and neighborhoods to be subject to in-person real estate registration across the Kingdom will be announced in due course, noting that the initial registration of properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic Real Estate Registry platform https://rer.sa/ or through service centers.
The Authority noted that on-site registration requires a title deed that meets the regulatory requirements to complete the registration process, and urged property owners in the areas and neighborhoods subject to on-site registration to verify their title deeds and ensure they meet the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, Inquiries regarding the registration steps can be made through the Authority’s official platforms or by calling the Customer Service Center at 199002.
It should be noted that after the property is registered, a “Property Number” and a title deed will be issued for each registered property unit, The title deed will include the property’s details, description, condition, and associated rights and obligations linked to precise geospatial information, thereby contributing to the strengthening of infrastructure and the sustainability of the real estate sector, as the real estate registration system aims to increase the reliability of real estate records and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
