The National Company for Real Estate Registration Services “Real Estate Registry” announced the issuance of more than 500 thousand real estate records in five cities around the Kingdom, each record included a title deed and a real estate sheet with accurate information and geographical location using geospatial data with property lengths and areas.
This came during the speech of the CEO of Real Estate Registry Dr. Mohammed Al Sulaiman on the main stage of the Future of Real Estate Forum 2025.
Dr. Al-Sulaiman reviewed the developments of in-kind registration of real estate and the level of progress in the first registration work in the various declared areas, pointing out that the Land Registry has employed the latest technology to accelerate the processes of in-kind registration of real estate, in addition to building a real estate map that is the first of its kind in the Kingdom.
More than 66,000 real estate transactions were carried out through the Land Registry platform, including transferring ownership, documenting mortgages and other real estate transactions, noting that the Land Registry continued its work in cadastral lifting in various regions of the Kingdom to prepare the geospatial work for in-kind registration of real estate, as the total areas lifted reached more than 22,000 square kilometers of the Kingdom's area.
Dr. Al-Sulaiman revealed that the Land Registry has employed the latest technologies to accelerate the processes of real estate registration, in addition to building a real estate map that is the first of its kind in the Kingdom. Dr. Al-Sulaiman revealed that the Land Registry relies on modern technologies to accelerate digital transformation, as the automation rate in its operations exceeded 94%, and the Land Registry used robotics to reduce the data transfer time from 8 minutes to 25 seconds.
Dr. Al-Sulaiman said that the participation of the Land Registry in the Kingdom's geospatial works is to prepare the geospatial works for real estate registration. It is noteworthy that the participation of the Real Estate Registry in the Future of Real Estate Forum in its fourth edition came as a partner of the real estate future; with the aim of enhancing awareness of the role of the Real Estate Registry in developing the real estate sector and enhancing reliability and transparency, in addition to enhancing public awareness of the vision and ambitious strategy aimed at developing real estate wealth and developing the system through real estate services and customer-centered digital solutions.
