Abdulrahman Al Fahdah: The King Abdulaziz Public Transport Project in Riyadh is one of the ambitious plans developed by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City to provide integrated public transport solutions in the capital and provide the city's residents and visitors with appropriate public transport services that meet their current and future needs, and due to the magnitude of the project and the complexities of the workflow; the Royal Commission for Riyadh City has established Control and Operation Center for public transportation.

It has been designed to the highest international standards and has been categorized as a Green Building Certification System (GBCS) Gold Class facility.<The center manages three vital parts of the capital's transportation system. It contributes to enhancing mobility and achieving the comfort of users of the residents and visitors of Riyadh city.
5 control and operation centers
<The center is located west of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University with a total area of 80 thousand square meters and the network is managed and monitored through the control and operation room 24/7 during the year and the center has about 600 employees. Riyadh's public transport network includes 5 control and operation centers distributed throughout the capital. The center specializes in managing and monitoring 3 main components of the transportation network:
Riyadh Train:
It includes 85 stations and stretches 176 kilometers across 6 tracks, facilitating the movement of passengers across the city.
Riyadh Buses:
It includes 87 routes across the city with a network of 842 buses spread across Riyadh, with 3,000 stops to serve passengers.
Advanced Traffic Control System:
It includes about 650 traffic intersections that are effectively monitored and managed to optimize traffic flow in Riyadh city.

Technically monitoring actions and behaviors
The technologies used in the center contribute to enhancing the overall safety of the transportation networks, as any actions or behaviors are monitored by distributing cameras on the transportation networks equipped with facial recognition technologies, monitoring and analyzing the recorded incidents and behaviors and informing the competent authorities immediately.
Missing persons update
The Control Center has not neglected lost property, and if a user loses his property, he must contact the center on the unified number 19933, where a ticket is opened for the complaint, and then sent to him by email or text message, where the user can follow the updates of the complaint until he receives his lost property.
