Real Estate Registry for a number of neighborhoods in the Eastern Province and Murat Governorate begins April 6

The registry includes 207,885 pieces in 230 neighborhoods in Sharqiya and 252 pieces in Murat Governorate until July 10, 2025.

<The General Real Estate Authority (GRA) announced the start of the real estate registry for (207) real estate plots in (230) neighborhoods in the Eastern Province.885 real estate plots in (230) neighborhoods in the Eastern Province, including (139) neighborhoods in Al-Ahsa Governorate, (80) neighborhoods in Qatif Governorate, (11) neighborhoods in Jubail City and one real estate plot in Dammam City, and (252) real estate plots in Merat Governorate in Riyadh, starting from Shawwal 8, 1446 AH corresponding to April 6, 2025 AD, until the end of today, Muharram 15, 1447 AH corresponding to July 10, 2025 AD.

Jubail City neighborhoods

Registration in Jubail City also includes the following neighborhoods: (Al Mirqab, Al Waha, Al Dana, Al Marjan, Al Dhabab, Al Tawiyah, Al Bustan, Al Yarmouk, Sanayat Al Arifi, Al Taawun, and Taiba), while the registration includes the real estate area located between Abu Hadriyah Road, Dhahran Industrial District, and Mecca Road in Dammam, indicating that the selection of neighborhoods was based on specific criteria, and the rest of the regions, governorates and neighborhoods that will be subject to real estate registration work in various regions of the Kingdom will be announced accordingly during the coming periods.

The Real Estate Authority indicated that the registration process is based on the following criteria. The Real Estate Authority pointed out that the first registration of properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa, or through service centers, noting that in-kind registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the statutory requirements to complete the registration process.

The Authority called on property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to in-kind registration to verify the title deed of the property and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, where inquiries about the registration steps can be made through the official platforms of the Authority, or by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.

Registration in kind requires the existence of a title deed that meets the statutory requirements to complete the registration process. Starting from the date set for the start of registration, a "property number" and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered, and the title deed will include (property data, descriptions, status, rights and obligations associated with accurate geospatial information to contribute to enhancing infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector).

The real estate registration system aims to increase real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
