The Hail Regional Municipality has begun implementing the Al-Haraj Bridge project, which connects Al-Adir'a Road to the Eastern Ring Road in the city of Hail, as part of the Secretariat’s projects to improve traffic flow and enhance mobility within the city, as well as to strengthen infrastructure and develop the region’s network of roads and bridges.
According to Hail Municipality, the bridge is 380 meters long and 32 meters wide, and aims to facilitate travel between residential neighborhoods in the eastern part of the city and reduce travel time, and improve traffic flow, which will positively impact residents" comfort and reduce congestion on major roads. This project is one of the engineering solutions the Municipality is working on to address traffic challenges and improve connectivity between key hubs within the city.
Completion within 4 months
The Municipality stated that the project will be completed within a period not exceeding 4 months, in compliance with the latest engineering standards to ensure the quality of execution and the safety of users, The project will include the implementation of integrated infrastructure works, such as improving stormwater drainage, installing modern lighting, and providing safe pedestrian walkways, thereby achieving the highest levels of safety and comfort for road users, noting that the Al-Haraj Bridge will support the region’s economic development by facilitating residents’ and visitors’ access to vital facilities and commercial services, thereby boosting economic activity and urban development in Hail.
She confirmed that road and bridge development projects in Hail will continue in the coming period with the aim of integrating transportation networks, improving municipal services, and enhancing the city’s appeal for investment and tourism, in line with the aspirations of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 for a more prosperous and growing future.
