The General Authority for Real Estate (G.A.R.E.) announced that the deadline for the first in-kind registration of (19,239) real estate pieces in (26) neighborhoods in the Makkah region will expire by the end of next Thursday. <The Authority invited owners of properties located within the scope of the following neighborhoods: (part of the Safwa neighborhood, part of the Dar Al Salam neighborhood, part of the Nassim neighborhood, part of the Shamisi neighborhood, part of the Troyah neighborhood, part of the Rashidiya neighborhood, part of the Kawthar neighborhood, part of the Taiba neighborhood, part of the Ain Shams neighborhood, part of the Hatim neighborhood, part of the Al Awali neighborhood, part of the Umrah neighborhood, part of the Shuhada neighborhood, part of the Kaakia neighborhood, part of the Jabal Al Noor neighborhood, part of the Jabal Al Nour neighborhood part of the University neighborhood, part of the Diyafa neighborhood, part of the Uhud neighborhood, part of the Al Hamra neighborhood, part of the Al Furqan neighborhood, part of the Al Asaliyah neighborhood, parts of the Wadi Jalil neighborhood, parts of the Jaarana neighborhood, parts of the Safa neighborhood, parts of the Ghaziyat neighborhood, parts of the Al Maqam neighborhood), to quickly register their properties through the real estate registry platform (rer.sa) before the registration period ends.sa) before the end of the registration period to benefit from the services of executing real estate transactions and documenting all changes to the property.
The Authority explained that the Real Estate Registry will issue a "property number" and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered, and the new title deed includes the exact geographical location of the property, its owner data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations and all real estate transactions that occur on it, to be the basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, which contributes to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its key enablers.
Real Estate Registry (rer. sa) It emphasized that failure to register real estate within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes its owners to the financial penalties stipulated in the real estate registration system, which is determined by a committee specialized in considering violations, and that requests for real estate registration continue in all declared areas even after the end of the registration period specified in the announcement decision.
