Sessions at the first International Floating Franchise Exhibition, held in Jeddah with the participation of entrepreneurs and investors from within and outside the Kingdom, focused on how to expand in the field of franchising and opportunities for Saudi brands to enter global markets.
During the session, participants discussed the remarkable growth the franchising sector is experiencing in the Kingdom, driven by Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to support international investment opportunities, as well as the key strategies and tools necessary for the successful global expansion of Saudi brands.
Participants also reviewed several successful Saudi brands in sectors such as restaurants, cafes, education, tourism, and other sectors with significant potential for global expansion, particularly in markets that value Saudi products known for their quality, in addition to being halal.
The session also addressed the most important steps for expansion to support Saudi franchising globally, through analyzing opportunities and challenges in foreign markets, selecting and studying target markets, understanding their cultures, adapting the product to suit the new culture, as well as utilizing direct and digital marketing, and participating in local and international exhibitions.
