40 exhibitors and 200 specialists participate in the first Private Aviation Conference and Exhibition in mid-Safar

With more than 40 exhibitors and 220 industry professionals in attendance, the first Private Aviation Exhibition and Conference in Hail will take place on the 12th and 13th of Safar, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Hail Region and Chairman of the Supreme Commission for the Development of the Region, and in the presence of Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation.

The conference, sponsored by the Supreme Commission for the Development of the Hail Region with support from the General Authority of Civil Aviation, will discuss ways to promote the development of the private aviation industry and establish the Kingdom as a hub for private aviation in the Middle East, The conference is particularly significant as it is being held in the Kingdom, given its prominent role in achieving prosperity and development in the air transport industry, increasing investment in civil aviation, and the growing expansion the sector is experiencing.

The conference is considered an ideal platform for experts and specialists in the Saudi and global private aviation sectors to meet and explore current and future opportunities. SAS Arabia for Conferences and Exhibitions, the company organizing and executing the conference, revealed there are currently 300 private aircraft registered in the region, a number expected to more than double to over 800 by 2017 and reach 1,420 by 2032, With steady growth at an annual rate of 20%, the private aviation market is experiencing rapid growth and will continue to flourish in 2015 and beyond.
