”Municipality and Rural Affairs” signed the approval of 15 projects worth 800 million riyals in various regions

<The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, M. Abdul Latif bin Abdulmalik Al-Sheikh signed contracts for 15 new municipal projects in a number of regions and governorates at a total cost of SR 846,965,067, as these projects specialized in flood risk prevention, construction of parks, street asphalting, bridges, environmental health, and a number of constructions.

Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs M. Abdul Latif bin Abdulmalik Al-Sheikh signed contracts for 15 new municipal projects in a number of regions and governorates. The new projects included the following:

Eastern Region

Construction of the Hafar Al-Batin Governorate building.

Development and qualification of quality control and assurance systems for the Municipality from 1436 to 1439 AH,

Development and qualification of quality assurance systems for the Municipality from 1436 to 1439 AH

Collection, transportation and disposal of waste in Al Khafji Governorate over the next three years

<At a total cost of 123,800,000 riyals.

Qassim Region

Reinforcement of the eastern flood drainage channel in Buraydah city.

Completion of the drainage network of King Abdullah Road in Buraydah.

Cleaning the scope of Safra Municipality.

<At a total cost of 313,827,977 riyals.

Asir Region

Execution of intersections and bridges in urban Abha at a cost of 73,931,077 riyals.

Jazan Region

Construction of bridges and tunnels to improve the main intersections of Samta municipality.

<Raising the level of lands and plans and opening streets in villages. <Collecting, transporting and disposing of waste in Abu Arish, Al-Tawal and Al-Suha governorates.

Cleaning the governorate of Damad, its villages and Jazan Valley. The total cost is SAR 255,483,037.

Najran Region

<The first phase of the flood risk prevention and rainwater drainage project for the Secretariat and its municipalities at a cost of 79,922,976 riyals. These projects come out of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs' keenness to meet the needs of citizens of municipal projects and services and provide them to them in all regions, cities and governorates of the Kingdom, in order to improve the level of municipal services that are in line with the urban renaissance in our dear country under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God support him, and his Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince, may God protect them.
