Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, a new package of housing benefits for citizens in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, based on the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The total value of the package is 4.62 billion dirhams, benefiting 3,052 citizens across various regions of the emirate.
According to a report by the Emirates News Agency, the package includes housing loans totaling up to 4.4 billion dirhams, distributed among 2,862 beneficiaries, as well as financial relief measures that exempted senior citizens and retirees with limited incomes, as well as the heirs of the deceased, from repaying their housing loans, totaling 212 million dirhams and benefiting 190 citizens.
With this latest package, the total value of housing benefits disbursed to citizens in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi since the beginning of this year to approximately 11.38 billion dirhams. This follows the approval of additional financial support for housing loan beneficiaries in the amount of 250,000 dirhams, as well as a reduction in monthly installments of up to 50%, and the provision of a range of facilities and services to enhance citizens“ quality of life.
The announcement of the new housing package coincided with the approach of Eid al-Adha, in a move that reflects the wise leadership’s commitment to bringing joy to citizens and involving them in national and religious occasions, This initiative is also in line with the objectives of ”Year of the Community 2025,” which focuses on strengthening family bonds and reinforcing the values of social solidarity.
