His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Eastern Province, inaugurated today the activities of the Saudi Industry Forum 2025, in the presence of HE Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industry Affairs Engineer Khalil bin Salma, President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers Hassan bin Mujib Al Huwaisi, Saudi Aramco President and CEO Engineer Amin Al Nasser, and a number of senior executives in the industrial sector, at Dhahran International Exhibition Center “EXPO” in Khobar.
His Royal Highness patronized the signing of industrial agreements with a total value of more than 9 billion riyals. For his part, Engineer Bin Abdulaziz bin Abdulaziz Al Maktoum stressed the importance of the industrial sector as one of the most important pillars of the Kingdom's vision 2030, and is a major source of sustainable development and job creation. For his part, Engineer Bin Selma emphasized that the Saudi Industry Forum embodies the progress witnessed by the national industrial sector and is a strategic platform to strengthen partnerships, review investment opportunities, and discuss industrial policies and capabilities that support the realization of the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, noting that holding the forum in the Eastern Province reflects its position as an advanced and influential industrial hub in the national industrial map.
For his part, the President of Aramco delivered a speech in which the President of Saudi Aramco, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Salamah, said that the forum is an important part of the Saudi Industrial Forum. In turn, Saudi Aramco's President and Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Amin Al Nasser, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that national industry represents the future of the economy, pointing out that the integration between energy and industry has become a key element in strengthening the local economy and developing national content, stressing Saudi Aramco's keenness to continue supporting qualitative initiatives that contribute to the development of industries and generate investment opportunities.
His Highness inaugurated the forum at the ceremony. During the ceremony, His Highness launched the "Future Industrialists" initiative, launched the “Industrialists” Voice is Heard“ platform, launched specialized industrial parks in the Eastern Province, witnessed the signing of a partnership agreement to establish the first laminated tin production plant in the Kingdom between the National Company for Industry and the Chinese company Dong Hsin, in addition to inaugurating the Al-Zahid factory in the Eastern Province, in addition to sponsoring the signing of nine different industrial agreements worth up to SR9 billion, and honoring the sponsors of the forum.
The forum included the announcement of the integration of energy and industry into the local economy and the development of national content, in addition to Saudi Aramco. The forum included the announcement of a number of specialized educational and training programs, including an industrial master's program, a diploma in furniture manufacturing and design, and the ”Nawaya“ program between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and a number of companies to consider providing possibilities for qualified industrial projects within the standard incentives for the industrial sector.
It is noteworthy that the forum will be held under the slogan ”Our industry is in a new phase of digital transformation and sustainable development“, during the period from 23 to 25 June 2025, with the participation of more than 320 exhibitors from major local and international companies, and hosting more than 78 speakers from experts and industrial and economic leaders, and the scientific program of the forum includes a number of dialogue sessions, lectures, and workshops that address the most prominent technical developments, investment opportunities, and best practices in supporting local content and promoting national exports.
