The Community Development Housing Foundation “Sakan” today the first batch of “Joud Riyad Bank” units, which included 20 housing units in the Al-Jawf region. These units are part of a total of 75 housing units contributed by Riyad Bank and distributed across a number of regions in the Kingdom, as part of its contribution to the second edition of the “Jood Al-Manaat" campaign, which was launched via the "Jood Housing” with the aim of enabling eligible families to own a home.
The handover of the units took place in the presence of the Acting Secretary-General of the Foundation, Yazid bin Khalid Al-Rashid, and the CEO of Riyad Bank, Mr. Nader bin Sami Al-Kuraie.
This handover is part of “Sakan” to maximize the impact of corporate philanthropy and transform it into direct housing products that achieve housing stability and contribute to improving the quality of life for eligible families, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Rashid emphasized that the handover of these units embodies the true meaning of community partnership between the private and nonprofit sectors, noting that “Sakan” continues to work on implementing housing initiatives through transparent and sustainable models. Al-Rashid expressed his gratitude to Riyad Bank for its generous contribution and for making a direct impact on the lives of the beneficiary families.
For his part, Al-Kuraie explained that Riyad Bank’s support for the second edition of the “Joud Al-Manat" campaign stems from its national and social responsibility, emphasizing that this initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to making a real difference in the lives of eligible families through its partnership with the "Sakan“ Foundation and the “Joud Housing.”
He added that, through its corporate social responsibility program “Bokra,” the bank constantly strives to contribute effectively to various high-quality national initiatives and forge strategic partnerships with various specialized entities, with the aim of creating a sustainable social impact. Al-Kuraie expressed his gratitude to the Developmental Housing Foundation for this initiative, which ensures a dignified life and directly contributes to making homeownership accessible to beneficiary families.
This handover reflects the impact of Riyad Bank’s contributions to the second phase of the “Joud” campaign, which will include additional units in a number of regions across the Kingdom, in accordance with precise verification mechanisms and implementation controls that ensure high efficiency and governance in performance.
