“Municipalities and Housing”: Serving 225,165 beneficiaries of the housing program in Riyadh

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of Riyadh, was briefed on the projects of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in the region, and its efforts to raise the rate of home ownership by Saudi families by developing the necessary infrastructure for residential areas, to the products provided to beneficiaries.

This came during a meeting at his office in Al Hakam Palace with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing to stimulate housing supply and real estate development, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Tawil, and a number of the ministry's employees. HH the Deputy Emir of Riyadh listened to an explanation about the ministry's projects, which contributed to providing more than (156) thousand housing units to beneficiaries in Riyadh and its governorates, as well as the development of (5) main destinations for off-plan sales projects in Riyadh with a total area of more than (98) million square meters, while the cost of housing units reached more than (150) billion riyals, and the ministry has developed residential lands with an area of more than (50) million square meters, forming about (30) thousand plots with a development value of more than (5.7) billion riyals.

HHis Highness was briefed on the ministry's projects, which contributed to the provision of more than (156) thousand housing units to beneficiaries in Riyadh and its governorates. <His Highness watched a visual presentation on the ministry's efforts in serving its beneficiaries, as 225,165 beneficiaries of the Iskan program were served in the Riyadh region out of 908,446 beneficiaries served throughout the Kingdom with a ratio of about (25%).
