Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel inaugurated a number of development projects in various sectors in Hafar Al-Batin Governorate, at a total cost of more than (2.6) billion riyals, in the presence of ministry officials and local leaders, where the new projects vary between rainwater and flood drainage projects, as well as various investment and municipal projects.

Minister of Municipalities and Housing During his visit, the Minister of Municipalities and Housing inspected the new projects in Hafar Al-Batin Governorate, such as the water entertainment city project, which is a model of the governorate's orientation to promote tourism activity and support the path of urban development. He also reviewed the “City View” digital platform, which is tasked with following up the progress of projects and raising the efficiency of their completion, and held a meeting with a number of officials to discuss plans to implement the ongoing and future projects.

Within the framework of the political leadership's interest in the opinion of the citizen, Al-Haqeel was keen to meet a number of citizens to listen to their comments and suggestions about municipal and housing services, as the citizen is seen as a key partner in the development process taking place in the Kingdom.

During press statements on the sidelines of the inspection tour in Hafar Al-Batin Governorate, Majid Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, emphasized that the new development projects aim to implement the strategy of Vision 2030, improve the life of the citizen, make the Kingdom's cities attractive to live in, and achieve the principle of quality of life for the citizen.
