The General Authority for Real Estate announced that the deadline for the first in-kind registration of real estate for (108,290) real estate pieces in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina and the Eastern Province is about to expire. <The Authority indicated that Real Estate Registration will end in the Makkah region for 50,259 pieces of real estate in the city of Makkah and Al-Jamoum Governorate, within the scope of the following neighborhoods: Al-Salam Neighborhood, part of Al-Rawabi Neighborhood: Al Salam neighborhood, part of Al Rawabi neighborhood, part of Al Rashidiya neighborhood, part of Maad neighborhood, part of Al Falak New neighborhood, part of Sha'ab Ali New neighborhood, part of Batha Quraish neighborhood, part of Al Hijra neighborhood, part of Al Taqwa neighborhood, part of Sha'ab Ali New neighborhood, part of Al Moghmas neighborhood, part of Al Kawthar neighborhood, part of Al Shari'a neighborhood, parts of Al Maqam neighborhood, parts of Al Khudra neighborhood, parts of Al Qarara New neighborhood, parts of Sha'ab Amer New neighborhood, Al Mubarak scheme in Al Rayyan, modified low income scheme in Huda Al Sham, and Al Jamoum housing scheme.
In the city of Makkah. <In Madinah, registration will end for 40,496 pieces of real estate within the scope of the following neighborhoods: Al-Rummana neighborhood, Al-Rawabi neighborhood, Al-Gharaa neighborhood, Al-Nablaa neighborhood, Al-Nablaa neighborhood, Shuran neighborhood, Al-Maqr Development Company plan (Al-Majdia project), part of Tabah neighborhood, part of Al-Aziziyah neighborhood, part of Al-Sadd neighborhood, part of Al-Ahn neighborhood, part of Rahat neighborhood, part of Wadi Mudhaynib neighborhood, part of Wadi Mahzur neighborhood, parts of Al-Hadidah neighborhood, parts of Railway neighborhood, parts of the General Plan for Visions of the City, and parts of Al-Maqr neighborhood.
Registration for 17,535 pieces of real estate in the Eastern Province also ends within the scope of the following neighborhoods in Abqaiq Governorate: (South Demegh neighborhood, Seville neighborhood, Andalusia neighborhood, Al-Andalus neighborhood, Al-Basateen neighborhood, Al-Rabwa neighborhood, Al-Rawda neighborhood, Al-Zuhur neighborhood, Al-Sinaiya neighborhood, Al-Fardous neighborhood, Al-Madina neighborhood, Al-Matar neighborhood, Al-Nakheel neighborhood, Al-Nuzha neighborhood, Granada neighborhood, Cordoba neighborhood, Al-Nour neighborhood, Ahd, Taiba neighborhood, Al-Rabieh neighborhood, Al-Rabieh, Al-Salam neighborhood, Al-Rayyan neighborhood, Al-Waha neighborhood, Rabia neighborhood, Al-Manar neighborhood, Al-Nada neighborhood, Al-Athir neighborhood, Al-Jazeera neighborhood and Al-Fayhaa neighborhood), and the following neighborhoods in Al-Ahsa Governorate: Hajar XII, Al Suhaimiya, part of Umm Sabaa, part of Muhairis, part of Shuqaiq Al Sharqiya, and part of Shuqaiq Al Sharqiya.
The Authority called on owners of properties located within the scope of the neighborhoods to quickly register their properties through the real estate registry platform rer.sa before the end of the registration period to benefit from the services of implementing real estate transactions and documenting all changes that occur to the property.
The Real Estate Registry will issue a "property number" and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered. The new title deed includes the exact geographical location of the property, its owner's data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it, to be the basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, thus contributing to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its key enablers.
The Authority stressed that the real estate registry will issue a “property number” and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered.
The Authority emphasized that failure to register properties within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes their owners to the financial penalties contained in the Real Estate Registration System, which is determined by a committee specialized in considering violations, and that requests for real estate registration continue in all declared areas even after the end of the registration period specified in the announcement decision.
It is noteworthy that the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (Real Estate Registry) undertakes the task of implementing the work of establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using modern technologies and geospatial data through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and confidence in real estate services and data.
