Organized by the Tabuk Chamber of Commerce today, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, a workshop titled “Qualification of Urban Service Providers,” attended by a number of representatives from engineering firms and construction firms, at the Chamber’s headquarters in Tabuk.
The workshop aims to introduce the “Qualification of Urban Service Providers” initiative launched by the Ministry, which includes standardizing qualification criteria and requirements for engineering firms and entities operating in the municipal sector, through the “Baladi Amal” platform, thereby facilitating access to municipal and housing services, improving service efficiency and quality, and promoting fair competition among service providers.
The workshop reviewed the initiative’s objectives and its legal basis, the application process and how to obtain the qualification certificate, as well as the differences between the classification and qualification systems, and the implementation stages, which include training technical staff and passing the necessary exams, along with periodic follow-up to ensure ongoing compliance.
