<The Director General of the Ministry of Housing Branch in Makkah, Engineer Hussein bin Rajeh Al-Zahrani, stated that there is no stalled project of the Ministry of Housing projects in the city of Jeddah, stressing that delays in some matters do not necessarily mean stumbling and pointing out that the delivery of the output of the Ministry's housing projects is done through specialized departments at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh and is keen on the interest and benefit of the citizen.
It is noteworthy that the number of the Ministry of Housing projects under implementation in the city of Jeddah reached 7 projects, namely the Jeddah Airport Housing Project, which contains 4242 apartments on an area of 2 million square meters, the Prince Fawaz North Housing Project with 2972 apartments on an area of 1.235 million square meters, the Prince Fawaz South Housing Project with 7661 apartments on an area of 2,675 million square meters, Jeddah Khumra Housing Project with 494 residential plots on an area of 799,714 square meters, Al Hijra (1) project with 8393 residential plots on an area of 9,084,934 square meters, Al Hijra Housing Project (2) with 5203 residential plots on an area of 5249655 square meters, and Jeddah Asfan Housing Project with 1286 residential plots on an area of 1543174 square meters.
Commenting on the rumors of the ministry's favoritism in the distribution of housing opportunities, Al-Zahrani confirmed that these rumors are not true, explaining that his ministry is fully committed to merit and priority when distributing its projects, and that the ministry recently announced to the public in all regions of the Kingdom the right of every beneficiary to a second chance if he is not satisfied with the results of his first chance.
