”Tourism Authority and NAS sign agreement to increase domestic tourism flights

The General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities has signed an agreement with “Flynas” to cooperate in increasing the number of flights to domestic tourist destinations. The signing took place under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman, President of the Authority, and in the presence of Samir Abdullah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Flynas Holding Group, on the sidelines of the Travel and Tourism Investment Forum.

Under the agreement, both parties will work to conduct ongoing studies to identify the current and future needs of local tourist destinations and explore the possibility of increasing scheduled flights between major and smaller airports.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Authority by Dr. Walid bin Kasab Al-Humaidi, Deputy President of the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities for the Regions, and on behalf of Nas Air by Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Muhanna, CEO of Nas Holding Group.

On this occasion, Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Hassan, Director of the Authority, said, “In the field of exhibitions, the agreement stipulates cooperation between NAS and exhibition and conference organizers in marketing travel packages and special ticket prices for exhibition participants, and cooperation in promoting Saudi tourism participation in international exhibitions. The company also offers special discounts, as feasible, to participants in exhibitions and events organized by the Authority outside the Kingdom.”
