The Taif Municipality has implemented the noble royal decree mandating the provision of electricity to homes whose owners do not possess legal title deeds, covering an estimated number of homes, while procedures for the remaining segment are being finalized in preparation for connecting electricity to them in due course. The swift implementation of this royal directive played a role in supporting numerous residential areas and providing relief to a broad segment of low-income residents. It also contributed to the development of the suburbs surrounding the governorate after electricity was connected to many residences.
Citizens who benefited from this gracious royal decree praised this generous initiative, which meets their needs for a decent life, alleviates their suffering, and facilitates a dignified existence by providing electricity to their homes—even those for which they do not possess legal title deeds— They expressed their thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for its concern for the well-being of citizens, its attentiveness to their needs, and its efforts to meet them, while praising the role of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, represented by the Taif Municipality, which moved swiftly to implement the royal decree.
