His Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of the Makkah Region, announced that sites have been set aside for swimming and recreation as part of the New Jeddah Corniche projects, During a tour he conducted yesterday of the New Jeddah Corniche, he noted that work is ongoing on the development, which encompasses all aspects, emphasizing the importance of securing the necessary resources to complete the South Jeddah Corniche and add other sites in the province to serve as recreational spaces for residents and visitors alike.
His Highness warned land encroachers that they must refrain from encroaching on the property of others, whether the land belongs to citizens or the state, stressing that such violations drain significant resources from the state and the relevant authorities, and ultimately result in losses for the encroachers themselves once the encroachments are removed, adding that the relevant authorities, led by the Emirate of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, will act decisively to reclaim state lands and will not permit encroachment upon them. Whether the encroachment is for personal gain, land theft, or acquisition through illegal means, it is something we do not accept and will not tolerate.
