The Real Estate Contribution Committee at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that it is offering for sale four plots of land belonging to distressed real estate contributions currently under review by the committee, The dates will be announced shortly in preparation for their liquidation and the return of rights to the shareholders. The committee has re-listed the “Fajr Abha” contribution plot, as well as the “Durrat Abha,” ”Al-Nourus,” and ”Al-Sharaf and Hadn Al-Nashwan” contribution plots. The “Fajr Abha” contribution plot, designated for a commercial and tourism project, is one of the most prime locations situated on the most important tourist route—the Al-Soudah Road, which overlooks the city of Abha. The plot covers an area of 22,676 square meters, while the “Durrat Abha“ land plot covers approximately 200,000 square meters and is located west of Abha Airport within the urban area, adjacent to the Al-Muzayfin neighborhood, and lies midway between the cities of Abha and Khamis Mushait. The committee also decided to sell the two plots free of disputes and encroachments within the ”Al-Nourus“ contribution, owned under Deed No. 26 dated 6/2/1390 AH and Deed No. 30/2 dated 14/11/1419 AH, issued by the Grand Court of Jizan, as well as the sale of the two ”Hadhn al-Nashwan“ plots in Khamis Mushait—the other located in Abha’s ”Al-Sharaf” neighborhood—after completing the regulatory procedures and verifying the completeness of their documentation. It is worth noting that the committee has distributed 70% of the share capital to Fajr Abha shareholders, with the remaining rights—representing the balance of the share capital—to be distributed after the sale of the land in question.
