Saudi Energy Expo 2014 concludes amidst global interest and participation

Saudi Energy 2014, the international trade exhibition for electricity, power generation, alternative energy, water and lighting technology, concluded its activities after three days of continuous events at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 26-28, 2014, with the participation of more than 314 national and international exhibitors from 28 countries representing companies, institutions and entities in the field of energy and water.

The event witnessed the participation of more than 8,000 visitors from various fields related to the energy sector and 314 exhibitors from 28 countries to learn about the latest developments and innovations in the sector.

Inaugurated by Dr. Saleh bin Hussein Al Awaji, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity Affairs, Saudi Energy 2014 featured a number of important technical and technical seminars that discussed some of the most important trends and issues affecting the sector, and this year's edition was characterized by a remarkable international presence with the participation of a number of prominent national pavilions from Germany, Turkey, India, China, Romania, Italy, Taiwan and others.

Commenting on the event, Costin Lianu, Head of the Romanian Pavilion, said: “The Saudi market is a great source of attraction for Romanian export companies in light of the Kingdom's rapid development and outstanding growth opportunities in the field of energy, and we are keen to maximize opportunities for cooperation and partnership with local companies through our second participation in this exhibition and in light of the outstanding success of the exhibition.“

The Saudi Energy Show 2014, which was accompanied by a number of important technical seminars aimed at enhancing awareness of some of the most important trends in the sector, received wide international attention with the participation of a number of pavilions from Germany, Turkey, India, China, Romania, Italy and other countries, as well as distinguished individual participants from a number of countries.

The event addressed all aspects of the energy sector, including power generation and distribution, alternative and renewable energy technologies, modern lighting products and technologies, as well as water management technologies and sources.
