Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayyan, President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, signed two contracts yesterday to carry out engineering and construction works for the industrial wastewater treatment plant in Ras Al Khair Industrial City and provide engineering services for projects to be implemented in Jubail Industrial City worth SR293 million ($78 million).
Under the first contract, engineering, procurement and construction works will be carried out for the industrial wastewater treatment plant in Ras Al Khair Industrial City, and the planned plant will produce treated wastewater that meets the required quality of irrigation water, and this project will take two years and eight months to implement.
In a statement yesterday, the Authority indicated that the second contract includes providing detailed engineering studies and designs, preparing plans, specifications, tender documents and tenders for the future projects of the Royal Commission that are expected to be implemented in Jubail Industrial City and the contract ends after five years.
