The events will take place on February 12–13, corresponding to ”Rabi’ al-Thani” 1435 AH, the Madinah Investment Forum will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman, Governor of the Madinah Region, and organized by the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with a specialized company.
The forum’s general coordinator, Hassan Awari, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chamber, emphasized that the forum’s activities represent a significant contribution to the region’s development and the promotion of sustainable development as an initiative aimed at shaping an investment future that fulfills aspirations and discusses the nature of the region and investment opportunities therein.
For its part, the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry revealed the themes and program of events for the “Madinah Investment Forum 1435 AH” and its accompanying exhibition, and announced the launch date of this major regional economic event. The Chamber’s President, Dr. Mohammed Al-Khatrawi, stated at a press conference held specifically to announce the launch of this forum—under the patronage, support, and supervision of His Highness the Prince of the region—that the forum is an initiative and a strategic step driving change on the local, regional, and international stages, aimed at mobilizing and investing energies and mobilize them to serve humanity and promote its well-being. He noted that the city is the focus of attention for Muslims from all over the world and that this economic initiative reflects the policies of the wise government, emphasizing that the principle of dialogue and participation between economic sectors and various government agencies is central to this forum, which will commence on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Thani and continue for two days to stimulate investments that serve sustainable development goals, follow up on recommendations and outcomes, and formulate economic visions, noting that there are several investment opportunities and initiatives valued at more than 3 billion riyals.
It should be noted that the forum is being held in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, the General Investment Authority, the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, the Regional Secretariat, and the Saudi Economic Association, in addition to a number of consulting firms and financial institutions from within and outside Madinah, as well as Taibah University, the Chamber’s academic partner.
