Preparations are complete for the launch of the Saudi Hotel Show, which will be held from April 22-24, 2014 at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events with the participation of more than 150 national and international exhibitors. The exhibition management has received confirmation of participation from more than 150 exhibitors from 20 countries in several areas of the industry, including interior fit-out and design, operating supplies and equipment, technology, outdoor and resort supplies, and food and beverage. Egypt and China will also be represented in the international pavilions. The Saudi Hotel Show is supported by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, and MICE, and knowledge partners include Euromonitor International and Ventures Middle East.
Recent estimates have indicated that Saudi Arabia's hospitality industry is expected to invest more than SAR 33.5 billion (USD 8.93 billion) over the next six years, as part of the government's ongoing commitment to boost the Kingdom's tourism sector. The increased focus on the Kingdom's growing hospitality sector has led to close collaboration and development with industry experts to provide a unique platform covering all aspects of hotels, including investment, sourcing, management, renovation, fit-out, operation and development.
