Start issuing licenses for tourism professions to support domestic tourism
Riyadh-Amlak
In order to support domestic tourism, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities, issued a decision to authorize the executive directors of the Authority's branches in the regions to approve all operating licenses, classification certificates and price decisions for the tourist accommodation sector and tourism activities and professions supervised by the Authority directly without the need to send these requests to the main branch of the Authority in Riyadh.
This decision comes as part of a plan initiated by the Authority two years ago to empower the Authority's branches in the regions and transfer powers to them, which gives these branches a greater ability to strengthen the relationship with the Authority's partners in the region in the public and private sectors, and confirms the Authority's vision in activating tourism development plans at the regional level, and makes those regions able to manage their tourism development under the supervision and follow-up of the tourism development councils headed by the Emirs of the regions, Al-Issa pointed out that the President of the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities emphasized the adoption of the Authority's approach. Al-Issa congratulated the branch directors on the confidence of His Highness the President of the Authority, hoping that this step will effectively develop their relationship with investors in the regions, and help facilitate the affairs of investors and motivate them to develop their investments.
