The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “MODON” participated in the Gulfood 2016 “Gulfood Exhibition,” held at the Dubai World Trade Center from the 21st to the 25th of this month. “Madin” aims to attract industrial investors in the food sector—whether from existing factories outside the region that export to the Kingdom or to introduce investment opportunities in this sector to new investors.

The “Madin” showcased a range of advantages that make the Authority’s industrial cities a destination of choice for industrial investors; these include their geographic spread, which covers all regions of the Kingdom with 34 industrial cities, and ease of access to markets—one of the strategies for building these cities— as well as seamless access to suppliers, the availability of various modes of transportation and support for their routes and quality improvements, and a focus on promising cities by enhancing essential services—including integrated infrastructure implemented to the highest standards, support services, incentives and facilities, as well as preferential nominal rents to encourage investors.
